Pond pipes keep leaking help?
I have a pond with non kink flexible pipes that run from pump to uv light to filter, but it always cracks and water shoots from it. Here is a link to the pipe.

Anyone know what I can do to have this not happen? Are there any other pipes I can use? Would pvc pipe work for my setup?
I have a 700-gallon pond, and I use the same type of pipe you have pictured. Some thoughts on what’s happening to you:
1. Are the pipes cheaply made? Sometimes less expensive piping can become brittle when exposed to temperature variations and sunlight.
2. Are the pipes exposed to the sun? This can make them brittle.
3. I cut up PVC pipes into various lengths and fit them over my flexible pipes. I then buried everything that I could. The PVC keeps the flexible pipes from being crushed by the weight of the earth, and burying them prevents sunlight exposure.
I have always been curious about UV lights! I use beneficial bacteria to combat the algae in my pond, and after heavy humidity/rain I tend to get string algae (my goldfish take care of the other kinds of algae). I have water hyacinth and water lilies covering about 80% of my pond surface.
